Our Women's Team journey in FAS WSL 2023 ended after we lost 0-2 to Kelana United in the Quarter Finals Stage. "Our players gave everything on the pitch. Despite our limited resources and challenges that we have as a small club, I am proud of how we fought as a team throughout the tournament. It has been a good experience," says our Club President and Women's Team Manager, Ms. Suzana Zakaria. The team finished 3rd in Group A behind MBSJ FC and Spicegals FC, recording 3 wins (Vs SA United, PJ Kita and NSFA FC), 1 draw (vs MBSJ FC) and 1 defeat (vs Spicegals FC). Our game against PJ Kita FC was considered as one of the best games in the edition so far. We recorded an epic comeback to win 2-1 against a big name opponent after conceding an early goal in the game. Two of our players, Siti Nabila Jamin and Nur Izzati Zainol also received a national selection call-up for the upcoming SEA Games. For many of our players, they are also happy to play in their first competitive football league and gained new experiences.
